OMAHA, Neb.—G4S Technology, an integrator based here, has been chosen to complete a security update for the Ferries Division of the Washington State Department of Transportation, according to a joint press release from G4S and CNL Software.
G4S, formerly Adesta, will install a new Milestone Corporate Enterprise-level video management system from CNL software, which will be used as the Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) system. That system will integrate various security components into one interoperable command and control system with a common user interface.
The Ferries Division in Washington State is the largest such transit system in the United States. The upgrade is currently underway and is scheduled to be complete by the end of 2013.
