GVTC partners with Honeywell

SMITHSON VALLEY, Texas—The Guadalupe Valley Telephone Cooperative is partnering with Honeywell to launch the co-op's next generation of security services for residential and business customers, The Gonzales Cannon reported Dec. 20.
The new features include remote capabilities that allow customers to access services from any Internet-capable mobile device. The features also enable customers to arm or disarm their security systems remotely, and to receive notifications about events in the home through sensors.
GVTC provides high-speed Internet, digital cable television, phone and home-security monitoring services across 2,000 square miles of south central Texas.
