CHICAGO—Full service security giant Protection 1, which was recently acquired by private equity firm Apollo Global, today announced that Jamie Haenggi has been promoted to the newly created role of chief revenue officer.
Apollo also acquired super-regional security company ASG. The two companies, which are in the process of being integrated, form the new Protection 1, a $600 million organization with about $40 million in RMR.
Haenggi will be responsible for leading marketing, customer operations and sales for Protection 1. She will continue to report to chairman and CEO Tim Whall. Haenggi most recently served as chief marketing and customer experience officer. She has been with Protection 1 since 2010 when GTCR acquired the company.
In a prepared statement, Whall said Haenggi has "played a key role in growing Protection 1, developing and executing concerted marketing efforts that bring in new customers, winning new accounts while driving down attrition to achieve one of the lowest percentages in the industry." He also lauded her a role in developing Protection 1's "employer brand."
Haenggi has 20 years of experience in the security industry; she also served as CMO at Vonage prior to joining the Protection 1 team.
