Honeywell adds high-end resi dealer to network

MELVILLE, N.Y.— Honeywell has added life safety and security provider Sonitrol Security Services to its First Alert Professional Dealer Program, the company announced Jan. 29. With locations in Charlotte, N.C. and Greer, S.C., Sonitrol serves high-end residential customers, and commercial and industrial businesses.

Founded in 1984, Sonitrol focuses on loss prevention, intrusion and fire alert, outdoor security, video surveillance and access control systems, offering hosted and managed systems, according to the news release.

“Honeywell's First Alert Dealer program is a good fit for us because its long standing philosophy and reputation for customizing solutions for their customers mirrors our own,” said William Price, Sonitrol CEO and president, in a prepared statement.

The Honeywell First Alert Professional Dealer Program provides support for sales and marketing strategies to dealers offering commercial and residential systems, as well as intrusion, fire, CCTV and access control systems, according to the statement.
