DMP Owners Forum celebrates 50 years with record attendance

LAS VEGAS—Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) hosted its annual Owners Forum on Tuesday, April 1, at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas as part of its 50th anniversary celebration.

The DMP Owners Forum offers executive managers of DMP dealers an exclusive opportunity to network with the industry’s top security leaders. It has become a can’t-miss event the day before ISC West. This year, DMP featured a stellar lineup with Las Vegas headliner Jeff Civillico serving as host and “Shark Tank’s” Robert Herjavec as the headline speaker.

The event began with a presentation by industry icon Ben Cornett, who retired in 2011 as the president of Honeywell Security. He has always been an outspoken champion for improving the level of customer service within the security industry, DMP noted.

Annual DMP Dealer Recognition Awards were presented by CEO Rick Britton to recognize top dealers, followed by a keynote address from Rory Vaden, New York Times bestselling author of “Take the Stairs.” His insights have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, CNN, Entrepreneur, Inc, on Fox News national television and in several other major media outlets.

A surprise appearance by famed Las Vegas magicians Penn & Teller dazzled the audience. The afternoon program featured a keynote address by Herjavec, a globally recognized business leader and motivational speaker. He is the Emmy Award-winning executive producer and Lead Shark on “Shark Tank” in the United States for the last 16 years. Herjavec has appeared on five seasons of “Dragon’s Den” in Canada and is also currently featured on “Shark Tank Australia.”

“Almost 500 people attended the DMP Owners Forum this year, breaking previous attendance records by far. We are honored to provide such a valuable and enriching experience to our dealers,” said DMP Vice President of Industry Relations Mark Hillenburg.

The Owners Forum also served as an opportunity for DMP to thank dealers for 50 extraordinary years.
