SWEAR takes top honors in SIA NPS Awards for second consecutive year

LAS VEGAS—Digital content authenticity provider SWEAR was named the 2025 Security Industry Association (SIA) New Products and Solutions Award winner in the Data and Systems Cybersecurity category at ISC West for its enterprise content authentication tool, SWEAR Security.

SWEAR was announced as a winner in the esteemed program for a second consecutive year, having won the Judges' Choice Award for its digital media authenticity engine in 2024.

The annual SIA New Products and Solutions Awards highlight new and inventive physical security technologies, services, and solutions. The highly respected awards program honors top tools and innovations designed to help protect people, assets, data, and property in residential, commercial, and institutional environments.

The proliferation of AI-generated content has escalated risks of data manipulation, particularly in sectors like security and government where data integrity is critical. For organizations handling mission-critical decisions - from law enforcement to legal proceedings - ensuring content authenticity has become paramount.

SWEAR addresses this challenge through a proactive verification system that embeds cryptographic fingerprints directly into media at the point of creation. This technology integrates with cameras, video management systems, and other recording devices to map each frame, sound bite, and pixel in real time. The resulting digital fingerprint is then recorded on a blockchain ledger, creating an auditable chain of custody resistant to tampering.

Earlier this month, SWEAR Security was also awarded as a gold-level winner for the 2025 Edison Awards in the Specialized Software for Critical Industries category. This award celebrates innovative solutions that make a significant impact across 47 unique categories.
