Honeywell names two new dealers

MELVILLE, N.Y.—Honeywell in February announced that Symon Systems and Apex Investigation & Security� had been named a Honeywell authorized security dealers.
Symon Systems specializes in fully integrated low-voltage solutions. The Tallahassee, Fla.-based company offers security, surveillance and access control services for customers across Northern Florida and Southern Georgia.
With its own in-house electrical department, Symon Systems provides custom design and installation for various residential and commercial needs, including surveillance cameras, fire alarms, automation and lighting, access control, medical call systems, computer networks and structured cabling. The company also offers security inspection, analysis and monitoring services.
“Security today means so much more than just intrusion alarm systems, which is why aligning ourselves with Honeywell makes perfect sense for us,” Chris McVicker, operations manager, Symon Systems, said in a prepared statement. “Access to Honeywell's knowledge pool and latest technology will allow us to grow our business right.”
Honeywell also named Apex Investigation & Security� as a Honeywell authorized security dealer. For more than 37 years, the company has provided quality security systems and services to commercial, industrial, retail and residential customers in Northwestern Ontario.
Apex Investigation & Security is a family-owned business that provides commercial and residential building security systems, alarm monitoring services, personal medical alarms, uniform guard alarm deployment, incident investigation, mobile patrols and loss prevention.
“By providing customers a wide range of products and services, we give them a single source for all their security needs, which is why aligning with Honeywell makes good business sense,” said Joe Woodgate, operations manager, Apex Investigation & Security in a prepared statement.
