i-PRO Introduces new compact dome cameras with edge-AI

TOKYO – Surveillance and public safety solutions provider, i-PRO, announced 24 new compact dome camera models that offer wider scene coverage, vandal resistance, powerful edge-based AI analytics, and flexible deployment options.

The company said that the new models are available in 2MP and 4MP resolutions, with efficient designs that deliver the smallest compact domes and highest cybersecurity protection available. The X and S series models support up to two AI analytic apps, and as with all i-PRO cameras, the new line of compact domes is fully NDAA compliant, with TAA compliant versions also available.

The X Series is described as a rugged, feature-rich design ideal for transit. It was built for use in challenging transit environments like trains or buses, and can withstand vibrations and shock, ensuring the best quality video footage for accurate analytics. The S Series is a new standard for compact domes with built-in AI for wide applications according to i-PRO. Like the X Series, the new S Series compact domes have the widest range of AI-based analytics available at an entry-level price. They support people and vehicle detection with attributes, scene change detection, sound analytics, occupancy detection, and AI Privacy Guard in addition to classic video motion detection analytics.

Finally, the U Series is stated to deliver exceptional value and image performance. For cost sensitive projects that don’t require AI features, expanded angles of view, secure element cyber protection, or enhanced low-light performance, the new entry-level U Series compact dome is the thinnest model available.
