CARMEL, Ind.—A new access control and property management solution from Ingersoll Rand enables the management of multiple properties from anywhere, according to a company statement.
The Nexia Property Intelligence, which will be showcased at the NAHB International Builders Show at the Las Vegas Convention, Jan. 22-24, allows users to remotely manage credentials and access controls by leveraging smart cards, wireless access control and modular locking systems. Operating on a cloud-based platform, Nexia is designed to “simplify security for multi-resident property owners as well as managers and developers of apartments, condominiums, off-campus student housing and retirement communities,” according to the statement.
Chris DeSchamp, portfolio leader, electronic security at Ingersoll Rand, said the solution “transforms how multi-family residences are administered and controlled, giving building owners and mangers with a “simple migration path to electronic access control and increased credential security levels.”
DeSchamp added that the system is “designed to grow with their businesses.”
