ISC West: 150 companies to debut

NORWALK, Conn.—More than 170 new companies will make their debut on the ISC West show floor, according to a statement from the organization.
Scheduled for April 10-12, 2013 in Las Vegas, at the Sands Expo & Convention Center, the show will feature more than 1,000 manufacturers and providers of security equipment and services, including ASSA ABLOY, Axis Communications, Bosch Security Systems, Honeywell International, Tyco Security Products, Samsung Techwin Americas and others.
The in-demand product categories for this year's show include access control, CCTV, video surveillance and central station monitoring systems, among others.
"ISC West offers a first-hand glimpse of the industry's annual status and with more than 170 new companies bringing new technologies to the marketplace, it looks like 2013 will be a good year,” said Ed Several, senior vice president and general manager, ISC portfolio of events, in the statement.
The SIA New Product Showcase will feature more than 80 entries, a 30 percent increase from last year, the statement said.
