DALLAS—Monitronics, a third-party central station based here, is optionally integrating Vivify's Remote Care Management Platform into its offerings, according to a news release.
The cloud-based platform, which is used in conjunction with off-the-shelf consumer electronics like tablets and smart phones, includes direct-to-consumer virtual care functionalities, facilitated in part by HD video conferencing, the release noted. Subscribers to the offering will be serviced by a nationwide call center, which uses additional information from Vivify to accurately prioritize patient needs.
“Monitronics' personal emergency alert monitoring gives customers peace of mind knowing they can continue living in the comfort of their own home,” Frank McGhee, Monitronics' VP of business development, said in the release. “One click of their emergency alert device will access quick and dependable emergency response from our award-winning monitoring center.”
