DENVER, Colo.—RemoteLock, a provider of cloud-based software for smart lock management and access control, today announced its newest integration with Schlage, a brand of Allegion known for innovative door hardware.
The Schlage Encode Smart WiFi Deadbolt has joined the list of smart locks that can be managed and controlled by RemoteLock through its cloud-based platform. RemoteLock’s software stands apart from the alternatives because it is designed to control smart locks from the leading brands.
RemoteLock’s software allows users to remotely control access for renters, guests, employees and contractors—saving time and money. RemoteLock provides customers ultimate flexibility — the ability to control any door, using various credential types, with locks from many leading manufacturers — all from one dashboard. The addition of the Schlage Encode™ Smart WiFi Deadbolt is the latest smart lock in RemoteLock’s portfolio of supported locks, which also already includes the Schlage Connect™ Smart Z-Wave series.
“The Schlage Encode Smart Wifi Deadbolt is a first-of-its-kind innovative, user-friendly solution, and the integration with RemoteLock further enhances the smart lock’s capabilities,” said Mark Jenner, director of technology alliances at Allegion — maker of Schlage Locks. “This partnership will allow for builders, manufacturers, real estate agents, property owners and more to have keyless automatic access to hundreds of properties.”
The Schlage Encode Smart WiFi Deadbolt is the newest connected device in the brand’s range of innovative smart locks. Launched in 2019, the lock is a major advancement in the smart home ecosystem as it features built-in WiFi connectivity, enabling secure remote access from anywhere, without the requirement of an additional hub for remote control. Consumers can easily install the Schlage Encode and integrate with leading home automation platforms such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
RemoteLock can directly control the Schlage Encode from a single application, giving users the ability to remotely manage access control and administer the capabilities of the lock at any size installation. RemoteLock facilitates the lock's ability to create and manage up to 100 access codes for recurring, temporary or permanent access needs.
“The Schlage Encode Smart Wifi Deadbolt is a very exciting integration for customers in several of our key markets,” said Nolan Mondrow, CEO and founder of RemoteLock. “For instance, many vacation rental property owners are already using this excellent lock with its incredible feature set. These users are now able to leverage the efficiencies of RemoteLock to manage their Schlage Encode, and all the other locks on our platform, at any scope their installations demand—whether it's a single lock or thousands.”
The integration is already live on the RemoteLock application. For more information, visit www.remotelock.com.
