WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.—Security Networks, a home automation company based here, is donating security systems to three nonprofit organizations, according to a company statement. The donations are in celebration of 12 years stationed in the West Palm Beach community.
“A nonprofit, depending on their mission, could use a security system to meet a variety of needs,” Rich Perry, Security Networks president, said in the statement. “For example, a women's shelter might find the system especially useful to monitor front and rear entrances. A child-care nonprofit might wish to monitor a playground area, whereas a homebuilding nonprofit might want to monitor areas storing expensive supplies and equipment.”
Palm Beach County residents are invited to nominate a local nonprofit organization before the end of February to receive one of the systems. The three nonprofits, which will be selected at random at the end of the nomination period, will receive a free security system for three years with full monitoring provided, the statement said.
