SIA to award distinguished members at upcoming meeting

SILVER SPRING, Md.—The Security Industry Association will honor its distinguished members during its annual meeting at the ISC East exposition, the association announced Oct. 22.
SIA plans to present Rob Zivney, Identification Technology Partners senior consultant, with the 2013 Chairman's Award for dedication to identity management; Laurie Aaron, Building Intelligence Inc. executive vice president and chief marketing officer, with the 2013 Chairman's Award for forging bonds with ASIS International, supporting education and recruiting members; John Hunepohl, ASSA Abloy Door Security Solutions education director, with the 2013 Committee Chair of the Year Award for his work at SIA Education Committee Chair and support of efforts to launch a learning module and other inititatives; and Steve Van Till, Brivo Systems president and CEO, with the 2013 Volunteer of the Year Award.
SIA Board of Directors Chairman Jay Hauhn will present the awards Wednesday, Nov. 20, during ISC East, which will be held at the Javits Center in New York, N.Y.
