CHICAGO—Soloinsight, a leading workflow automation platform company, announced that following the successful completion of its SOC 2 certification, it has also achieved compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
HIPAA has established a set of rigorous national standards to safeguard the security and privacy of sensitive health information. In order to comply with HIPAA, a company must have policies and procedures in place to protect the use and disclosure of protected health information (PHI).
The compliance verified by a third-party audit confirms that the proper physical, administrative, and technical safeguards are in place to keep PHI secure and meet HIPAA's regulatory requirements. Soloinsight's continued commitment to regulatory compliance provides current customers with the assurance that their protected health information is secure while instilling confidence for new customer engagements.
"As a company, we are committed to safeguarding our customers' privacy and security," said Carter Kennedy, Chief Executive Officer of Soloinsight (or Farhan). "Obtaining HIPAA compliance represents a significant step as we continue to push ourselves to achieve the highest industry standards."
Soloinsight received SOC 2 compliance in May of this year. The addition of HIPAA compliance further demonstrates the company’s ongoing commitment to strengthen customer trust and further its dedication to data and information security.
