Telguard now cellular provider for Videofied systems

ATLANTA—Telguard is now a single source cellular supplier for all Videofied systems in the U.S. and Canada, the company announced Jan. 15.
Telguard SIM cards are compatible with Videofied systems, offering dealers an alternative service provider for new systems or a way to upgrade existing customers to the AT&T nationwide network in the U.S, or to the Rogers, Bell, Telus and SaskTel networks in Canada.
“With the rapidly increasing trend for security to include video verification, it only made sense that Telguard provide that cellular communication path as well,” said Shawn Welsh, Telular marketing and business development V, in a prepared statement. Telular is a Chicago-based wireless communication provider whose security products and services division is branded as Telguard.
Welsh added, “Through our partnership with RSI Video Technologies, the provider of Videofied systems, dealers can now take advantage of the benefits of working with Telguard for video verification through both our turnkey video verification solution and, now, our cellular service for all Videofied systems.”
Telguard's cellular service pools purchased data across all units, allowing dealers to leverage the combined data of all their installations. The Telguard SIM is available from Telguard or Videofied.
