TSP expands Connected Partner Program Expanded integration library designed to benefit integrators

WESTFORD, Mass.—Tyco Security Products recently added two offerings—Kantech and victor client—into its Connected Partner Program along with Illustra, American Dynamics and Software House.

The program is designed to create integrations between Tyco Security Products' offerings, such as the Software House's CCURE9000, and third party products. The Connected Partner Program, now under Tyco Security Products, was formerly branded under Software House.

Creating more integrations through this program will speed up installations for integrators, Kristy Dunchak, Tyco Security Products' director of product management, integration solutions and program, told Security Systems News. “The whole idea is to create an integration library for all of Tyco's products, that then will make it easier for integrators to sell a Tyco product,” she said.

Members of the Connected Partner Program include manufacturers of cameras, access control, and other security technologies. “It provides partners with the tools, the support, and the labs that are necessary to help them quickly develop integrations,” Dunchak said.

The company wanted to expand the program after seeing success with the brands in the program, Dunchak explained. “The certification process and the documentation that we offered our partners was very well received in the industry. So, we recognized that we had a model we should proliferate,” she said.

The program was started about five years ago, includes more than 100 partners and has done more than 300 integrations with its Software House brand.
