Tyco partners with Alarm.com Tyco Security Products will offer Alarm.com-integrated products in 2014

CONCORD, Ontario—Tyco Security Products is adding Alarm.com to its list of technology partners; by the middle of next year, Alarm.com will be available on DSC IMPASSA series and hybrid panels.
Alarm.com's services include interactive security, video monitoring, energy management and home automation.
For the past three years, Tyco Security Products has offered interactive security products that run on the iControl platform. This partnership represents another option for TSP customers, said Tim Myers, TSP's product line director, intrusion.
“The strategy is to do what we're good at, manufacturing hardware and offering choice around the world,” Myers said.
Myers said the Alarm.com solution is “jam-packed with functionality at a reasonable price. … This is a huge benefit to [TSP customers].”
Stephen Meagher, TSP product manager, director of customer experience, said Alarm.com is a “very trusted brand with a huge customer base.”
Meagher said that the Alarm.com hybrid panel features will be attractive to high-end residential as well as small commercial businesses.
The Alarm.com product is being tightly integrated with TSP to ensure that forward and backward compatibility with Alarm.com services.
