FRACKVILLE, Pa.—U.S. Alarms, a Dynamark Security franchise based here, has purchased the alarm division assets of Bethlehem, Pa.-based Deiter Bros./Four Seasons Security.
Terms of the deal, which was finalized Jan. 18, were not disclosed. Four Seasons is a division of Deiter Bros., an 83-year-old, family-owned heating and cooling services company. Four Seasons provides burglary, fire, access control and video surveillance solutions.
Tom Bartolacci, the owner of U.S. Alarms, said the acquisition was tailored to the company's marketing area and growth strategy.
“We've been looking to expand in eastern Pennsylvania and it's right within our market, so it's a perfect fit,” he told Security Systems News.
Bartolacci declined to comment on the number of accounts involved in the transaction, the amount of RMR or the split between commercial and residential customers. He said an unspecified number of employees were part of the deal.
“The main employees of Deiter/4 Seasons will remain to help grow the company to the next level,” he said in a prepared statement. “This is truly a win-win transaction.”
U.S. Alarms will be pursuing additional acquisitions in the area in 2013, Bartolacci said.
“We're looking for more accounts in eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey, but nothing is imminent,” he said.
Steve Rubin of the Davis Mergers & Acquisitions Group assisted Deiter Bros./4 Seasons with the transaction.
