YARMOUTH, Maine—Take a look around at your co-workers and your customers. Who are the tech-savvy integrators and end users with the security smarts and drive to lead the industry of tomorrow?
Security Systems News is seeking nominees for its “20 under 40” Class of 2015—talented young professionals who will move the security industry into the future. There will be separate classes for integrators and for end users, for a total of 40 winners.
Each award recipient will be profiled in Security Systems News—integrators in the October issue and end users in November—and on the SSN website. They will be honored at a special reception at the annual TechSec Solutions conference, the premier conference dedicated to new and emerging security technology, to be held in February in Delray Beach, Fla. Winners often are invited to sit on panels at TechSec, and all participate in dynamic audience discussions.
The requirements to be included on the annual list are simple: Nominees must be born in 1975 or later. They must be employed by an integration firm, security installation company or central monitoring station, or they must be a physical security end user. (Past winners in the end-user category have included those from school districts, hospitals, universities, corporations big and small, retail, banks and municipalities.) Nominees' job titles are not important, but their business acumen and dedication to the security industry are.
Nominees must be age 40 or younger. Those eligible may also nominate themselves.
Employees of manufacturing or consultant firms are not eligible for this award, but are encouraged to nominate integrators or end users.
All nominations must be received by July 1. Go here to submit your nomination: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ssn20under40
You will be instructed to specify which category—integrator or end user—appropriate for your nominee. Please complete the form in its entirety. Contact information for both the nominator and the nominee is especially important.
After the July 1 deadline, SSN editors, with input from the TechSec Advisory Board, will select the winners and will begin the notification process.
