Alula launches enhanced features for smart security app and dealer portal

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Alula, a provider of smart security and system communications for residential and commercial applications has announced several enhanced features for its Alula Smart Security App and AlulaConnect dealer portal.
The features and updates help to streamline processes for users designed to save time and money. They showcase Alula’s drive to innovate for their partners and customers in making sure they are better equipped. “These new features and capabilities further strengthen Alula’s position as a full-service solutions provider,” said Warren Hill, VP of Marketing at Alula. “Our customers’ needs and consistent ease-of-use of our solutions are always top of mind and we understand the pivotal role that video plays as a core component of professional security.”
Among those features mobile app users will have the ability to customize their home screen further and include selected smart devices like cameras and sensors based on their preference. Alula cameras now also feature intelligent object recognition with adjustable sensitivity settings.
The Alula dealer portal for system management, AlulaConnect, has seen some significant updates according to Alula. There’s been an account creation wizard added to help streamline account creation by cutting the time required in half. Dealers can now also set default account service features in their profile and export zone information to share with monitoring stations.
“The Alula product team is developing additional functionality for future updates. We look forward to announcing advanced remote configuration capabilities from our touchpad interface, the ability to send out automated, customizable customer onboarding communications, additional Smart Watch features, and more,” Hill said.
