Axis Communications collaborates for 13th year on Little League World Series

CHELMSFORD, Mass. – As 2023 marks the 76th anniversary of the Little League Baseball World Series, it also marks 13 years of its collaboration with Axis Communications.

Since 2010 Axis Communications has supported the Little League Baseball World Series, working closely with the Little League each year to help provide safety and security measures for players, coaches, fans, and staff. Last year the tournament was expanded to allow two more teams from the United States and two more international teams to compete, bringing the total number of participating teams to 20. Axis said that the addition of more players, coaches, and their families reinforced the need for comprehensive safety and security measures during the event.

Axis said that Little League has made use of a variety of their products throughout their collaboration to enhance their surveillance. These include thermal, panoramic, PTZ, fixed box, and fixed dome network cameras, as well as Axis’ radar technology and perimeter detection analytics. New for this year, Little League has added additional cameras to enable better overall site coverage.
