Convergint partners with BRS Labs

HOUSTON—Behavioral Recognition Systems Labs today announced an alliance with systems integrator Convergint Technologies to integrate AISight, an artificial intelligence system for video surveillance, into Convergint's customer base, according to a BRS statement.
The partnership, which has produced a purchase north of $2 million, will see Convergint use AISight to identify potential safety and security threats in real-time from multiple video feeds across multiple locations within Convergint's broader safety and security implementation. The companies will continue to work together to deliver similar projects within the U.S. and internationally.
“BRS Labs has brought a whole new concept to the intelligent video market,” Tony Varco, VP security division at Convergint Technologies, said in a statement. “More large security analytics deals now specifically call for behavioral recognition software from BRS Labs than any other vendor. It makes perfect sense to partner with the market leader and participate in the customer's safety and security success.”
John Frazzini, president of BRS Labs, added in a statement, “Convergint and BRS deliver real value to the enterprise security market. Together, we can continue to accelerate AISight's broad acceptance and rapid adoption by the security industry. We're looking forward to working closely with Convergint Technologies on this and many future projects.”
