SPRINGFIELD, Mo.—Joe Hurst is the new president of DMP International, the company announced recently. Hurst will market DMP's products outside the U.S.
“DMP products are already being sold and used in North and South American countries,” said Rick Britton, DMP CEO, in a prepared statement. “Joe will focus his skills on supporting and greatly expanding sales outside of the United States as the leader of an organization dedicated to growing DMP presence beyond our borders.”
Before joining DMP international, Hurst worked with GE Security, as president for Latin America and Asia and senior vice president, responsible for Olympic security. He was also CEO of Interlogix in the Asia Pacific and Latin American regions.
“DMP products are known for their innovation and reliability with exceptional customer support,” said Hurst. “I am excited to lead the focused effort of bringing this time-tested product offering to the global marketplace.”
Hurst has served on the board of directors of the Security Industry Association and received that group's George R. Lippert Award in 2002.
