RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J.—Mission 500's first Security Industry Softball game, featuring two teams of 15 security industry professionals, is approaching the three-quarters mark of its $100,000 fundraising goal.
“This softball game is a new and fun way for the security industry to come together and raise money for needy children in the U.S.,” George Fletcher, advisory council member/volunteer for Mission 500, said in a prepared statement. “We've already raised more than $72,000 from corporations and individuals in this very generous industry toward our goal of $100,000, and we hope this new event will put us over the top.”
Bronze, silver, gold and platinum sponsorships are available. Platinum level sponsors each have the opportunity to put two players on the field while silver and gold sponsors are each allowed one.
The game will be held here on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from noon to 3 p.m. at Overpeck County Park. The security industry also supports Mission 500 with the Security 5K/2K run/walk, held annually at ISC West.
