Alarm Capital Alliance expands in Georgia

NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa.—Alarm Capital Alliance acquired more than 1,200 accounts from Bulldog Security Services of Dacula, Ga., strengthening ACA's position in the Atlanta area.
“It expanded our coverage of that market geographically a little bit, as well as adding to the customer base,” Jason Grelle, ACA VP of business development, told Security Systems News.
ACA, which is based here, says its has more than 20,000 accounts in Georgia, and more than 170,000 customers nationwide.

Per Mar buys a pair of Indiana security companies

DAVENPORT, Iowa—Super-regional Per Mar Security has acquired the assets of two family-owned security companies in Indiana: Centech Security Systems of Valparaiso, and Walkerton-based S&L Services.“Both of the companies were about 80 percent residential and 20 percent commercial,” Brad Tolliver, VP of Per Mar's Electronic Security Division, told Security Systems News. “They're both located in a new growth market for us and add a larger footprint for us [in the] South Bend marketplace.”Tolliver...
ASG buys bolt-on in Louisiana

BELTSVILLE, Md.—Super-regional ASG Security is “having a strong sales year so far in Louisiana” and it's also building density through acquisitions in this region, ASG CFO Ralph Masino told Security Systems News.
ASG has acquired the assets of Hartman Electronics, based in Metairie, La., the Davis Marketing and Acquisition Group announced on Sept. 12.
