MELVILLE, N.Y.—Honeywell today announced that Scott Harkins will replace JoAnna Sohovich, who resigned from her role as president, Honeywell Security & Communications, on Dec. 2. Sohovich moved to a job outside of the security industry and is now president, Industrial & Automotive Repair (NA, Asia & EMPG) at Stanley Black & Decker.

MELVILLE, N.Y.—JoAnna Sohovich has resigned as president of Honeywell Security & Communications, Security Systems News has learned.
Sohovich resigned Dec. 2, according to sources.
Honeywell spokesman David Gottlieb confirmed that Sohovich “has decided to leave Honeywell to pursue other opportunities.”
“We thank JoAnna for her contributions to the Security Group as well as other Honeywell businesses and wish her well in her future endeavors,” Gottlieb said.

ST. LOUIS—Interface Security Systems is in the process of completing the installation of a secure managed cloud services project for the entire Dollar General 9,500-store retail chain. While terms of the deal were not released, Interface CEO Michael Shaw told Security Systems News that the Dollar General multi-year contract is “expected to generate in excess of $100 million in top-line revenue for Interface.”
