Honeywell spokeman David Gottlieb today confirmed that “Scott Harkins has accepted a new role within Honeywell to help develop global growth opportunities within the Connected Home space. He will leave his current post as president of Honeywell Security Products Americas by the end of June.”

But Honeywell took an innovative approach in promoting security this season—actually commissioning a Nashville band, Telecommunicators, to create an original song, “You're My Heart,” and using it in a music video that highlights the features of Tuxedo Touch.

MELVILLE, N.Y.—JoAnna Sohovich has resigned as president of Honeywell Security & Communications, Security Systems News has learned.
Sohovich resigned Dec. 2, according to sources.
Honeywell spokesman David Gottlieb confirmed that Sohovich “has decided to leave Honeywell to pursue other opportunities.”
